On August 10th, I had the honor and privilege to lecture to the Royal Asiatic Society Korea Branch (the World’s oldest Korean Studies organization) via zoom on urban redevelopment and urban exploration in Korea. It didn’t start smoothly, but I found my groove after a while and wanted to explain everything. After finding a natural stopping point, I answered some audience questions and listened to comments. It seemed to go well. I want to share the video of the event and the slides I used. Perhaps you will gain something from either one.
Like the talk I gave at the Gwangju International Center in 2019, I didn’t prepare a script, just speaking to the pictures I presented. It’s an effective method, so why fix something when it’s not broken?
